Weird. I never really expected to start a band, but it turns out I can write weird songs well enough for people to want me to make a band and get a record deal. Odd, since I've only written one and a few halves songs, but everyone at my school wants me to go ahead and do it.

What's even weirder is that I might actually pull this off. As it turns out, one of my teachers (who, by the way, is the nicest and most awesome guy ever) happens to own three studios and likes making songs with his students, which is a category I fall under, and I'm also going to be working with him anyway because his class is writing a musical which we will perform in a few weeks, which gives me plenty of opportunities to get into this whole music business thing.

Anyways, here's the song which managed, somehow, to be very well liked among my teachers. It's a love song that starts out soft and compassionate and then gets a bit more hardcore by the chorus. I present: Bleeding.
Code:

What if the grass were never green,
The water was dry and the dirt was clean?
What if I never held your hand
and was the rock for you to stand (on)

Try to ignore what I've done before,
I'm not gonna hurt you anymore.
I'll always try to keep you happy...

...Well, maybe not...

[chorus]
BECAUSE I'M A VAMPIRE!!!
I'M A VAMPIRE!
And I claw, and I bite,
and I fly in the night!
I'M A VAMPIRE!
I'M A VAMPIRE!
So don't even try,
'Cause tonight YOU WILL DIE!
I'M A VAMPIRE!
I'M A VAMPIRE!

Drinking blood and eating flesh!
Blood is good when it is fresh!
Children all scream at the site
Of the undead demon of the night!

Sunshine ain't no place to hide;
You couldn't run long if you tried.
When the sun goes down and you're in you bed,
I'll find you and I'll eat your head!

[chorus]

I am undead. I'm in a rut.
I like to hang at Pizza Hut.
I don't need soap or foamy suds,
I only need to SUCK YOUR BLOOD!

So vomit, phlegm, stink, sob and cry,
But by my teeth you're gonna die!
Try to enjoy you're final breath;
Ignore you're painful bloody death!

[chorus]

Vladimir Tepes is my name.
If you are dead I am to blame.
I'll drive a stake right through you're head
And mutilate you 'till you're dead!

I'll drink you're blood 'cause I'm insane,
And also I will ea you're brain!
So grab you're garlic, stakes, and knives,
'Cause as long as I'm dead I'M STILL ALIVE!

[chorus]

So don't you see what's wrong with me,
And why I'm a little too crazy?
Now rest in peace while I leave you're side;
The sun's coming out and I need a place to hide.

GRAAAGH!!!
GRAAAGH!!!
GRAAAAAAGH!!!

Heh, he he hee...

I personally don't think it's a clever as it ought to be, but it serves it's purpose as a bizzare gothic metal love song well enough. I'm sorry I don't have any music for you to listen to, but I haven't been able to actually write that yet. It's much more enjoyable with the element of suprise.

This is the first song I've written in a collection I call (so far) The Best Things I've Ever Seen, Done, and Eaten. It's a bunch of songs about my favorite stuff, including Vampires, Pirates, Duct Tape, Peanut Butter, and so on.

Who knows? Maybe I'll rise from an average slacker to a rock star by accident.

critisizm is welcome. I'll post my other songs when I finish revising and editing them.[/code]

Wow... That's er, odd. I like it! Happy

Some of the rhymes aren't that great (bed/head/dead, Rut/Pizza hut), but it's looks pretty funny. Vampires are always good. (of course Nazi Vampires are better, but it might be hard to put that in there now.

Anyways, good luck! I hope you get your record deal. I would buy it.

Dude it sounds good. one problem though
"and was the rock to stand (on)"
Is a rubbish line. Whats with the "on" in brackets man thats crap, other than the song looks decent.
Please tell me that songs not called "bleeding", way too corny. Dont let yourself fall into the "Look at those rockers pretending to be depressed" stereotype
Also what instruments have you got in your band?
I hate to sound pessimistic but in my school ive seen alot of bands come and go, make sure you dont lose the enthusiasm. Im in a band myself, were called Three pronged baldric, we got some quality songs and solid, enthusiastic and able band members, which is what you need man.
Sorry if i sounded like a bastard but what i said had to be said.
good luck

You apparently missed the whole comedic flair behind the song.
On the other hand, if you actually call it "Bleeding" people'll write it off as some dumb angsty goth song and not even bother listening to it.

Neither can I. I can't play (nor do I own) any rock instruments, so I need to find some way to get money for lessons and instuments.
As for the bad lyrics in the beginning, It's that way because I was lazy, it's supposed to be bad, and I don't know anything about love songs, or even love for that matter.

Anyhoo, I'm finishing up the next song, and I need Mormon jokes. I figured this would be a good place to look. Shadow?

Shadow's a mormon joke, alright.

(Nifty lyrics, I really can't think of much to add, except that I think calling it Bleeding is a fine idea. We've gotta start taking words back from the goths, they're all gonna kill themselves in a few years, and we need to make sure we don't lose any of our culture because of them.)
