I think YOU'RE the one who misunderstood. If an enemy gets killed before a multiple-hit attack is finished, it doesn't die even after the attack is finished. The player can even choose to target it on his next attack, and it still won't die. Not only that, but it keeps on attacking the player even though it SHOULD already be dead. It's not about a multi-hit attack hitting an enemy even after it's dead. It's about enemies not getting removed from a battle at all upon death.

Oh, is this a new bug, then? Forget it. As long as the multihits keep doing what they've always done.

I agree, Multihit attacks HAVE to keep hitting, even after the foe is dead. Otherwise, OHR Classics like Doctor Rape, and I Made Dis, will lose a lot of their signature charm.

Do you run the game boy double-clicking on the RPG file in Windows? If so, it means that your file-associations are wrong.

=Windows XP=
* Right-click on any RPG file.
* From the pop-up menu, pick "Open With"
* Click the "Browse" button
* Select the correct version of game.exe

=Windows 98=
* Hold SHIFT and right-click on any RPG file.
* From the popup-menu, pick "Open With"
* Click the "Other" button
* Select the correct version of game.exe

Does that solve the problem for you?

I've seen this as well, although perhaps in a different form. Chain style attacks, bouncing from enemy to enemy, cause all enemies to dissolve, but only the last one does completely. The others are still half there, and can still take damage.

I located one of this kind of problems myself too. If the enemy bitset is set, so that enemy escapes isntead of dying, by the ime, it should have been escaped, it can be still targeted and hit.

I can't get the precise weapon placement to work right.

The handle coordinates can be set for the hero settings, but the coordinates in the item setting are gray, but settable. Does this mean that the coordinates aren't activated?

When trying this new feature, the weapon doesn't get placed where it should be placed.

Help please.

I posted about this in the General OHR board. James said that he can't get it to work right himself.

Get a nightly. If that doesn't work, the discussion is continuing in that thread.
