I am aware there was a walkthrough of some sort before in the past, linked to the old CP forums, but when I try to access it, it comes up saying the thread doesn't exist.

Is there any way I can get a walkthrough or something for the game which I can consult whenever I get stuck? Thanks.

I can help you with the game. I think I did include a hint file with the zip file though. It's not a complete walkthrough or anything, but it tells you how to get past the maze puzzle. I'm just assuming that you got stuck on that one.

No, I actually got past the hallway part, but I would like to know what clue would have guided me through much much more easily.

I'm actually stuck trying to find out how to make dynamite in the Boogeyman Lair. Where do I have to go to learn how to make dynamite?

Hrmm, It's been a while since I last checked the game, so my memory is a little bit spotty. The first name of the princes indicate the directions and the P&A clues you in on how to navigate through the maze.

Delgan. D - East.
Nuremberg. N - West.
Pollock. P - South
Andre and Aldricht. A - North.

After that, you need apply this direction to P&A. Going South then North, however, isn't enough. Maybe P&A means something. Try P(AND)A.
South, North, West, East, and North.

-----

There's a book that teaches you how to make dynamites in the lair. You probably just missed it. If memory serves, it should be somewhere around the northwest section of the map.

I'm not totally sure I understand how that clue works. Does P(AND)A indicate that you have to go through five different directions or something?

Also, I finally got the dynamite. Woo hoo! I just hope I don't get stuck again.

As Orchy stated, each prince is associateed with a direction. P AND A uses the princes first names to indicate the path you need to take to navigate the hall.

P AND A =Polloc, Andre, Nuremberg, Delgan, Andre = South, North, West, East, North

errmm, the P(AND)A clue tells you how to get out of the maze. So you have to go: South, North, West, East, and North. If you follow this, it'll lead you out of the maze.

edit: My bad, IM posted the explanation while I was writing this.

Thanks for the help so far.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do at the hospital. I found the sewerkey, the glasses, and the katana. Am I supposed to be doing something else there? What are the glasses for? Thanks.

Oh man, this is embarassing. I had to check the RPG file because I'm forgetting things about it. I think to get to where you are, you probably have gone through the sewer level at this point. I'm not sure if the sewer level goes first then the hospital part or the other way around. Anyway, try wearing the glasses on the second level and walk around, you might find something new.

Well, I finally beat the game, and I have to say I'm impressed. The story is very well done, and I almost thought it had a Silent Hill type plot until I came across the Purgatory. This game is totally awesome, and it shows what a talented skilled artist can do with the right tools. =) It's making me feel inspired to create something like what you have Friend, but I know I'm not very good at creating the atmosphere you have created...

Nevertheless, I can't believe it took me so long to find this game, but I'm glad I did. Happy

Haha. Did you brute force your way through the hallways the first time too? Big grin

Oh yeah. Really confused

Fortunately, the switches puzzle I caught on to like that *snaps fingers* despite hearing someone say they had to brute force it.

I could still remember the time I was playing the game, and I, too, had to ask here in the forums about the hallways puzzle and the headless statue boss... great game...
