Stroll in G
Listen away and please tell me what you think!

This piece is dedicated to IM, 'cause he likes it, and also choose the super-special name for it! Big grin

I really enjoy what's here, though I kind of agree witht the_dude. It sounds like it's an island, or a really, really light and carefree forest theme.

A few comments:

I think maybe it might need something to hold together the chord structure (I'm thinking maybe after the first solo passage?) like some strings holding the chord. That would sweeten the deal.

I think that the bass break at the end would be a little too long for nothing to happen. I would suggest introducing some sort of secondary idea so we're not just listening to the chords that we've already heard.

I liked the song, but I'll agree with The_Dude on it being more of a beach tune. The 'wind' instrument was excellently done. The bass seems a bit too strong, but the beat itself isn't bad. Perhaps a few more instruments?

Oh Snapz, A talking bot?

Hey, Sex-on-the-phone-in-a-forest, that's pretty nice. I especially like the almost blend of instrument with voice effect at 0:22. Ha ha ha!

That's exactly what it was, TwinHamster. I've deleted the bot, it's post, and edited the thread to reflect that.

Also, the name comes from the wind instrument: Saxophone, or Saxomophone as Jabber called it. Play on the word combine that with the fact that the midi was named forest.mid and you've got yourself quite a name.

(I didn't expect him to actually use it Raspberry!)

Ha ha ha! I'm sorry, but seeing IM's name for it unfortunately pre-implanted visuals that went so well with the song.

I really feel like a jackass for finding that funny, `cause it really isn't.

It's an interesting piece, although I too would have to agree that it more suits an island setting. However, it could still work with a forest setting as well.
