| Right now these forums can tell you who was the last person to post a reply. I think that perhaps it would be good if they could show you the subject of that reply as well. I can't help but feel that the subject line is kind of useless for replies right now; if someone sees your subject, they already have your post in front of them. |

| Shadowii's comment here I think summarizes my feelings about the current uselessness of subjects. Wouldn't it make sense to use them for something, if they're taking up memory? Then again, I don't know much about site maintenance; if nobody really cares, I guess it might not be worth the effort. |

If subject were widly used, then by golly, that's a great idea. But unless it catches on sometime soon, there should be alternate ways of finding out what the latest post says without clicking.
For example, you could hover your mouse over the LAST POST: (name) and it displays the first few sentences of that post. I've seen it done before, and it works better than I've made it sound.

First off...the space for the subjects is extremely minute...second, I never even look at the post subjects 
I guess some other features could be implemented..but I've gotta set up the new server first, then finish the other features I said I'd release months ago 
Just another thing to add to the list

The subject field is worthless unless you're making a new thread, after all, since the subject name is SMALLER than the actual post, most people's eyes naturally go to the post and not the subject.

Yup yup! That is most definitely true. I look for what people say rather than the subject of what they say...........unless it's a new thread.
