The sidescroller article mentions random crashes. I would love to have more details, particularly the version of GAME.EXE used (or whether the crashes have been seen on multiple versions)
I want to know if these crashes are represented by already-open-bugs or if new bug reports need to be open.
Anyway, nice issue. The pixel art tutorial was a nice touch. I would love to see more of that. |

Thanks
When I wrote the article, I had drawn Mr. Slime up to step 2. I really like the end result, though... enough that I'm considering redoing the other enemies in that style.
Hopefully others learn at least as much from the article as I did writing it. _________________

Ah, Okay. That is actually a big relief. TMC has made massive improvements to the script interpreter since the days of hasta-la-qb+
Maybe you are seeing something related to old '' . bug_title('203') . '' |

This was a more than solid issue. it was great, despite my gross negligence... _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

Actually the full sentence is: Quote: | Instead of controlling the hero as he goes from dungeon to dungeon, this game removes the tedium and instead allows you to control the monsters he encounters instead! |
I wrote that and I'm not sure how all those insteads made it in. _________________

Aren't both of those reviews terrible game reviews? You promoted one of them to normal to fill a magazine section!
The retrospective of EoTE is useful (I was wondering about all the battles being impossible - I gave up soon at the prospect of that much leveling - and why it was held in such high regard)
Anyway, keep it up. This reminds me, I never got that RPG Online mirror up. This month hopefully. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

*opens up the issue*
Oh look, a multiple game cover. I think I see Bob (get well soon!), M. Penguin, Ampersand, Surlaw, Banta Sword, Fenrir's great achievement in vixen-dom, and...
*double take*
The Banta Sword???
*looks up*
Is it... is it... yes! It's Winger! ... ... ... dropping the Banta Sword. Heh heh heh! So happy!
*dies of joy and never actually makes it inside the issue* _________________ LJ.Art

Is EOTE 1 one of those games that requires the "Level Up Bug" to be enabled for the balance to work out? |
