Umm...'Delay Caption' doesn't seem to work.
I've tried bunches of values, but Captions are shown immediately (when the attacks are used) after each attempt.

I'm not quite sure how long this has been a problem, but I've also had the same troubles in the 7/28 nightly.

Well, I'm pretty sure it's not a Werewaffle blocker, but I noticed Custom still fails to extract all my creative ideas from my brain and implement them into new fun games while I sleep, nor does it employ an infinite number of monkeys typing on keyboards to make a logical, well-designed system. Maybe for Xocolatl?

I just uploaded a fresh release candidate: http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/archive/ohrrpgce-win-installer-werewafRC.exe

TMC fixed the last blocking bug, and made a delicious last-minute improvement to the sprite and maptile editors. Try it out and see!

Unless somebody can give me a darn good reason not to, I will release werewaffle this weekend!

I tried it and I'm not quite sure what you're referring to, maybe I didn't notice, or does it have to do with performance?
Someone enlighten me?

The frame rate of the graphics editors is now 60fps, a manyfold improvement over what it was before. Keyboard support is noticeable smoother, and mouse support is *vastly* smoother.

I'm going to try out the release candidate, but one thing that's been bugging me for a long time is the fact I can't fully rotate sprites the way I can maptiles. When is this going to be implemented?! It would save a lot of trouble. Happy

Isn't 'Delay Caption' for how long to keep the caption on the screen?

You're thinking of "Display Caption." Delay controls how long it should take before it shows.

'' . bug_title('477') . '' will not make it into Werewaffle, but I don't think it is unrealistic to expect it for Xocolatl

I noticed a problem in the graphics editor. When you try to move the picture with the Caps Lock, it moves way to fast to do it precisely. I'm guessing that has something to do with the frame rate increase.

You just have to tap the arrow keys in this instance instead of holding them down. It works fine.

I think the new frame rate increase is amazing actually. Between this and the multiple layered tilesets, there's no more reason to draw like crap. Really nice update. Handles like a dream now.

Barring lack of skill, of course...

Are you kidding me? What are your CPU stats, because I'm using a Pentium M (2005), and tapping the arrow key makes it move at least 3 pixels up. I had to recopy a graphic a whole bunch of times just to get it to stop cutting my walkabout in half. Even when I try to tap it very very lightly, it either results in the keyboard not reading the tap, or when it does it goes up a bunch of pixels anyway.

EDIT: Changing the keyboard settings in Control Panel has no effect whatsoever.

AMD Athlon 64 Processor
3200+
1.99 GHz, 512 MB of RAM

I don't know. It works fine for me. Way better than it used to.

Huh, mine is 1.73 GHz. Strange that yours is having no trouble. It used to be great for me when I guess the FPS rate was slower, editing graphics was smoother too. Now it has become quite the opposite for me. :/

Edit: On the plus side, scrolling through NPCs in the map editor with < and > is now much smoother. Before, it used to scroll through too fast.
