Please report any bugs or suggestions here. I will check this daily so bugs will not stay unfixed for long. Anyone who reports a bug or suggestion that I use in my game will be credited for at the end of my game.

Also, if anyone simply wants to tell me their opinion of the game, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like all the feedback I can get.

Here's a link to the game:

I'm looking forward to your feedback!

~Worthy

P.S. Thanks Iblis for the suggestion to post a demo of the battle system.

Hmm... my reply didn't post yesterday...

Right now, you are probably wondering why several people have downloaded your demo, but no one has commented. Sorry it took so long.

I just don't understand whats going on most of the time.. why is it that when I tell my character to attack, they rarely do?

PS: I see that when the battle is running, the script buffer is nearly full. You might want to chop your script up ointo smaller piece so that you can have other scripts running in the background..

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I have been wondering why no one has said anything considering 39 people have d/led it.

Anyways, can you be more specific? If you attack with Noah then you must press a combination of keys (4 keys). If you attack with Cane you must choose a target and press "enter" before you can attack. You should have no problem attacking with Lard.

If you would please give me more detail with what you are doing and what's not working I would greatly appreciate it and I will try to fix it ASAP.

I look forward to hearing from you,

~Worthy

P.S. If you haven't read the "readme" file that may help.

Regarding the script buffer:

I am working on that actually. I started to chop the scripts up, but I decided I would post the game now as it is so while I do that I can (or hoped to) get more bugs reported so I can work on those also. Thanks for the suggestion though.

ummm... i can't remember the name of the leader(the one in the middle in battle) his attack doesn't get accepted until i press enter four times.
i dunno, i find it slow. but fun to play.

Provided you didn't change the order of the party the middle hero is "Noah". After pressing enter to confirm the enemy you wish to attack you should see a "1" in the bottom-left corner. You can either press Up, Down, Left, or Right. Once you do that you will see the number "2" in the bottom-left corner. Press either of the four keys again. Keep doing this until no number appears ("4" is the last number).

Right now no new moves can be learned by Noah (moves will be learned by pressing the keys in the correct combination) so it really doesn't matter which order you press the keys (other than changing his attack animation).

I am working on speeding it up, I will post another update soon with the speed increased.

Let me know if that helps,

come on setu, you're not that bad.

oh ok, didn't realise it changed the attack animation, i think the three slash attack was cool.

Note: no, i don't change party order unless it would be more convinient for me to execute attacks.

Ok, finally getting back...

Yeah, I was just confused because you decide which move all the heros will make, and then they perform them all together..

What are the 3 bars that each hero has? Hp, Mp, ?? ?

As for bugs, sometimes Noah doesn't attack if I enter a combination like left left left up,
And once when a crab healed itself, its picture turned into a red insect, but changed back later.

Yep, please do speed it up a bit.. especially Noahs 3 slash move, and other moves like that...

The three bars are (from top to bottom) HP, MP, Limit break

I have sped it up, but I'm still testing some other bugs I found. I'll post up a new update shortly.

I'll check the error with noah attacking and the crab turning into an insect and get back to you later. Regarding the insect thing, I attempted to draw the crab bringing up its claws in kind of a defense stance. Perhaps I'm a really bad artist and should redraw it or maybe it's changing into a graphic that it shouldn't be. I'll check it out anyways.

Thanks for the feedback,

Well, I posted a new update of the game. It has around three or four new features (including increased battle speed!). Enough people complained about the slow speed of the battle so I decided to post an update quicker than I had planned.

Thanks,

~Worthy

P.S. I couldn't find a case in which noah's attack didn't work by pressing left left left up. I found a couple errors in Lard's menu which I am working on now, but nothing for Noah. I did just chop his menu up into smaller scripts so there may be some bugs I didn't find.

Ok, I'll have a look at it later..

Well, I didn't mean the particular combination left left left up, but just some with repeated keys... err... look, don't worry about it, I'll get back to you if I do find something....

Yes, the battles are random. I did not place a battle on every tile though. There are no battles on the dark sand yet because I plan on using a different battle background. Only on the light sand will you encounter any battles.

Setu, what do you think of it?
