Mi'La levels up after the fight with the thugs in the mayor's house (right after you pick up Johan). Whenever I try to up one of her skills, the game crashes. This seems to happen regardless of what skill I pick.
Anybody have this problem and know of a workaround? |

An intriguing game. The only winning move is... not to play.
How about a nice game of... chess? |

Can you please email your jade.sav to mkidder@gmail.com ?
Also, are you running it from it's installation (ie, it's running on Quanternion), or are you playing it under Tirgoviste? |

Is this crashes crashes? As in, "This program has encountered an error"? _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Out of buffer space, right? I encountered a few of those while playtesting. I couldn't level up to test every boss fight however.
Don't remember how I got around them... prehaps levelup somewhere else first. It'll be history on future OHR versions though. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Yes indeedy. I get thrown abruptly back to windows and an error dialogue box pops up. I can't remember the exact wording of the text; something to the effect of: "Windows has encountered an error at (some hexidecimal number)"
FireWulff: This happens when running the game with the included Game.exe file (Quaternion). Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to get the .sav file to you. I'll probably get it to you this weekend. |

Remember that due to a bug Quaterion crashes when it encounters a script buffer overflow. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Upon talking to TMC and testing myself a lot, it unfortunately does seem that you will have to wait until the next version for the super-big-script-buffer-of-awesome to prevent this from happening of the engine. Once this new feature is confirmed and the engine is shown to not kill puppies upon release, I will release an upgrade for Jade to fix outstanding issues. |
