It's been removed, along with your abilities as a moderator.
Did you really think I'd just turn a blind eye to abuse of your moderation position, Giz? Yes, you can move topics...it's a feature written in so the Art Moderator can move a topic to the Music forum and vice versa. Abusing this power and moving things into the Soapbox only proves to me you're not mature enough to handle that responsibility. You're still the Sig. Eps. Usergroup Moderator (meaning you control who is and isn't able to view the forum), but you're no longer the Sig. Eps. forum moderator.

| IM, it was intended as a joke, and I fear that perhaps you are seeing it in a far darker light than it actually is in. I also disapprove of the deletion of these posts, rather than the archival of them where others can enjoy a little joke. I cannot envision it being hard to limit who can move what where. I'm not too mad you took away my mod abilities, but I would like for you to remove Jazz who hasn't been around in a long time, and last I saw him in #sew, vowed never to return, and also would like to choose Uncy and PHC as our succesors, who can hopefully run things better. |

You have to remember the first time it happened, it wasn't clear that Giz had moved the thread from Sig. Eps. to the Art Corner. The thread suddenly appeared and the initial instinct was for the admin to ban you for starting said thread.

It's hard because I'd have to manually set the user ids or forum ids in the code and I really really don't want to have to limit that on a case by case basis. Right now, a Moderator can moderate posts in his or her forum and move threads to appropriate forums.
I understand it was just a joke, and you'll notice I didn't ban you nor did I privately warn you for doing it, but this is the second time you've moved threads outside of Sig. Eps. Given your track record, I feel leaving the power in your hands pretty much guarantees another occurrence. I'll gladly remove Jazz Man as well and place PHC in power of the Sig. Eps. forum, per your request. It is your Usergroup.
Also, the post is archived, although you can't view it. It's a policy we've been following since April: instead of deleting threads, we move them to the Crap Dump for archival purposes. It's kind of amusing, actually...almost the entire archive is made up of threads you've started.
Edit:
PHC declined the offer while I was replying.
Also, unless I'm mistaken on the date of this occurrence, Orchard had already resigned when you did that. I'm really the only person who could investigate it, and I didn't even sign on until long after the thread had been deleted and PHC was banned.

I'm pretty sure it was Orchy who did the banning, but we don't need to tie up Linkmax's journal to do it in. And I realize you didn't ban me, or warn me privately, but I felt like your public warning was rather firmly worded, and I was expecting a private warning or further disciplinary actions to follow.
EDIT: I did also suggest Uncommon, but I'm not sure if I just thought about it, or actually put it in the post. |

I actually meant to put that in the last post, as the reason I'd suggested you for moderator, because you have this uncanny knowledge of when I'm going too far, and when I'm going to get in trouble. Then again, I didn't get punished too bad, and I had some fun, so I'd say this time it was a worthy endeavour. |
