 Interview with Insight Games- [CNwork] I'm interviewing Insight Games, a newly revived company that hosts such favorites as well...hell, we all love everyone in the company. [CNwork] Can you guys tell us why you would restart IG after it shut down over a year ago? [Chenzi9X] Yeh. [sephy99] We poured our hearts and souls into IG [Chenzi9X] A certain individual seemed to want to take the IG name and turn it into something of his own. That would have destroyed it, so we decided to act first. [Chenzi9X] Now it seems that we're really going to pull together and do a real good company, much better than the old IG. [Chenzi9X] This time we'll actually have more projects released than last time (I'm sure a few of you remember some of my releases). [SmokeDog] We really hope to, anyway. [CNwork] So what games are is IG working on now, and whose involved in them? [sephy99] None for the company. [Lucier] We haven't come up with any group projects just yet. [SmokeDog] Well, we just came back together [Chenzi9X] Well, we just started going today. I plan to kick up some of my old projects. [Lucier] But we plan to soon. [SmokeDog] We are trying to get our bases down before we go for the grand slam, ya know? [sephy99] Hopefully we can help Julian with the Racing game. [Lucier] Yeah [Chenzi9X] First off I wanna release IG Match'em again, but in the long run, A ton of great RPG's with voiceacting and spiffy things will be released, I hope. [SmokeDog] IG Rac0rz. [Chenzi9X] Yeah, and IGrac0rz. [CNwork] Voiceacting? For OHR? [Chenzi9X] Not in OHR. [SmokeDog] I plan on working with Verge. [Lucier] RM2k! [sephy99] we aren't limiting ourselves only to the OHR. * Lucier dances [SmokeDog] I have checked out that engine and it holds ALOT of promise. [Chenzi9X] IG isn't limited to OHR. [Chenzi9X] In fact, I usually program in VB. :P [SmokeDog] What they say. ^_^ [CNwork] So when is the web site going up? [Lucier] As soon as possible :P [sephy99] Smoke holds that info I think. [SmokeDog] I am going to begin work on it tomorrow. [Chenzi9X] Well, it smoke might be getting a domain name soon here. [Chenzi9X] Yeh. I'm sure it'll be l33t. :P [SmokeDog] Yeah, domain names are spiffy. [CNwork] Why did all of you join up into a company though? What was the lure? [sephy99] I did it because I was bored. [SmokeDog] Well, I just remember how fun it used to be. [Lucier] A certain somebody. [Chenzi9X] IG bombed last time because of a few crappy members. [sephy99] Hehe. [SmokeDog] It was great at one time. [Chenzi9X] Anyway, we wanna make it better. Actually productive. [sephy99] This is a terribly unorganized interview. [SmokeDog] It will help me get a focus on things... Give me some kind of goal now.. instead of just letting ideas drift away. [Chenzi9X] Word yo. :P [Lucier] I liked IG. It rocked. [SmokeDog] After all, CN, you yourself said we should all do something to benefit the community, right? [sephy99] I liked Fall of IG [Lucier] Er.. [sephy99] But everyone hated it. [Chenzi9X] :P [Chenzi9X] The rumors about me and Lucy being involved are incorrect, btw. [CNwork] Are you guys accepting new members? [Lucier] Yes [SmokeDog] Yes, we are. [Chenzi9X] I'm very happily married to an unnamed Asian princess. [Chenzi9X] We wanna get the old members back [Chenzi9X] If possible. [SmokeDog] Yeah, we are hoping they might come out of the woodwork. [Chenzi9X] And we are defiantly looking for anyone with programming, art, or any kind of skills. [SmokeDog] Some of the old members prefer to keep on their own. [CNwork] So it's going to be a fun, laid back kind of company. [Chenzi9X] Not as much as the old IG. [sephy99] Yes. [Lucier] Yeah. [Chenzi9X] But still, fun and laid back. [CNwork] Is there anyone in charge? A leader of sorts? Or are you forgoing that? [Chenzi9X] Yeh. [Lucier] But now IG will actually go somewhere, we hope. [Chenzi9X] Smoke == el presidente! * Chenzi9X runs! [SmokeDog] We hope so. Active, but relaxed. [Lucier] :P [SmokeDog] Gah. [Chenzi9X] I'mah co presidente. [Chenzi9X] :P [SmokeDog] Oh yeah, Call me el presedente and you get your lungs torn out, free of charge. (ala FF6) [Chenzi9X] Of course those are just titles. [Chenzi9X] Doesn't really mean anything. [SmokeDog] Yeah, they don't really mean much. [Chenzi9X] I'm just as good as anyone with half a brain in IG. [Chenzi9X] Prolly worse. [CNwork] ...isn't Mew the "Mop and bucket girl"? [Lucier] Yes. [SmokeDog] Nope. She is the resident Hottie. [Lucier] Pretty much. [Chenzi9X] She's Miss. Artist too. [Chenzi9X] :P [Lucier] Bah. [SmokeDog] Unless that is the mop and bucket girl. [sephy99] She is my sister. [Chenzi9X] She dances for nickels! [Lucier] XD [SmokeDog] Frankly, her art kicks ass, I am going to use it for whatever I can. [sephy99] She doesn't even do the dishes. [Chenzi9X] Yeah. * Chenzi9X nods. [SmokeDog] * [Lucier] Whelk Garden is the sister site of IG. [sephy99] WG will be huge some day. [CNwork] All right, so IG is going to be a company that focuses on making games for any engine. Anything else you guys would like to add? [Lucier] WG rocks. [sephy99] Look forward to Moon Pie. [SmokeDog] Moon Pie has nothing to do with IG though =P * Chenzi forces shroom to eat the hamster fetus. [Lucier] And long live IG! Aiiiiiiee! [Chenzi9X] :P [Chenzi9X] Oh yeah. [sephy99] If we can hold IG together. [SmokeDog] Well, CN, I want to make IG a real company, you know? Laid back and relaxed.. but still getting stuff done. [Chenzi9X] In my mind, I want to get things done in IG. [CNwork] Good luck. [Chenzi9X] As most people know, I don't get things done if I don't have a deadline. [Chenzi9X] :P * Chenzi9X wins.
