  168 Hour Contest-

Though the turn out wasn't as big as the 48 Hour Contest, the game turnout still wasn't bad. Most of the games offered unique ideas and creative designs.

  Neke, Woman of Mystery-
Created by, Lucier, Sephy99, and Toxic Shroom

Featuring OHR's first nude heroine, the game focuses on Neke tracking down a killer in the nude. With it's quirky dialogue, well done plotscripting, and great graphics, Neke's a winner, all the way.

  The Hounds of Geussen-
Created by Tarot Master and Ralfo

A sidescroller with good graphics and interesting plotscripting. However, the game falls woefully short gameplay wise. The camera has problems focusing on the character, and there are no enemies. Add this to a demo stage that can be beaten in minutes, and you've got a game that wasn't ready to released.

  Wally's Castle-
  Created by Heather Mizuno

After the awful Star Cops, Wally's Castle is a welcome change, even with the lackluster graphics and confusing dialogue, Heather takes Wally's castle down a interesting road, offering mini-games and creative battles by the barrelful.

White Bricks Under a Red Fence-
  Created by, Bobert44

Even with it's interesting premise and cutscenes, the game mechanics are incredibly messed up. No money, yet plenty of shops, and armor you get but can't equip. Add a boss that's impossible to beat, even after half an hour of level gaining, and you've got a shitty and frustrating experience. I guess you could give it some credit for coming up with a unique menu system, though most of the functions don't work.

  Knight of the Ages-
  Created by, Moogle1 and Rinku-

This isn't a bad game. Sure it's difficult, rift with annoying bugs, and has boring gameplay. Perhaps the game's biggest problem was uninteresting characters, who were both bland looking and speaking. If this game was made by anyone else other then the legendary Moogle1 and Rinku it might have been forgivable. As it stands...

Whose gets CN's top vote? Why it goes to "Neke, Woman of Mystery".

  OHR House, 2001-

When first proposed the event had close to 15 people going, though by the time the event started it had dwindled down to four. Regardless, the week was a success, if only because it was the first. Harlock taught kendo, Eldritch cooked, Nova honked, and I attempted all three. Next year's event has all ready begun to shape up, with projected numbers of ten people or more. Sign ups can be sent in at any time, and can be found here.

  Board Havoc-

PK, creator of the OHR Message Board, decided to totally alter the board's format, in the middle of both the 168 Hour Contest and OHR House. The change met with much protest, until PK managed to get the new board up and running with better features, including pictures, custom rankings, and a more sensible way of keeping new posts up on top. However, gone are the days where you could browse a thread, looking for the interesting parts. Now all OHRer's are forced to read the banal comments of newbies.
