  Interview with Lucier-

[ChaosNyte] This week, OHR Weekly turns to one of the few female OHRer's in the community, Lucier. Formally known as Mew, she is working on Genesis, famous for it's astounding anime style graphics.
  [Lucier] Hehe, hi.

[ChaosNyte] Now Lucier, what can you tell us about Genesis, and how long have you been working on it?
[Lucier] Genesis is a story about a young girl named Yuriko and her revenge for her mothers death, which quickly evolves into much more. I've been working on the game for about 2 years now, but the characters have all been in development for much longer than that.
[ChaosNyte] Even though she's on the adventure to avenge her mother's death, the game is very light hearted, like your brother Sephy's games. Why?
[Lucier] Well, I'm not really known to be all that depressed, so it would kind of be hard to make a depressing game without experiencing depression myself. :P
  [ChaosNyte] Heh.
[Lucier] And also, I've been greatly inspired by the PSX game Rhapsody, which was light-hearted, even though there were many sad events.

[ChaosNyte] Rhapsody? So do you intend to have any singing, dancing moments in Genesis?
[Lucier] No singing, but I have been planning a small dance number made out of drawings, to form a sort of FMV sequence.
  [ChaosNyte> Sounds keen.
  [Lucier] Hehe, thanks.

[ChaosNyte] You and your brother Sephy have both been making games, how did you get into OHR? Did Sephy introduce you, or did you introduce him? How long have you been working with the OHR?
[Lucier] I originally had heard of some sort of RPG making engine, which was RpgMaker 95. I searched for it on yahoo, and came across a page with a mascot of a hamster. I read up on the engine, and decided to use it. Sephy was around when I decided to use the engine, so I guess you could say we introduced each other. I'd say, roughly, I've been working with the OHR for around 3 years now.
[ChaosNyte] Wow. Have you made any other games for OHR or RM95?
[Lucier] Yeah. My first project on the OHR was Chrono Trigger 2: Search for the Time Stone, which was deleted after awhile, and I never bothered to re-make it. Then came along Acura, which really wasn't ever going anywhere. I've never made any RM95 or RM2K games, although I might in the future.

[ChaosNyte] Now the question most OHRers are wondering themselves. The OHR Community has very few women in it, even fewer that come forward and take an active part in the community, since, well damn, most of us our hormone crazed boys. What's given you the staying power to stick with OHR for so long, and why don't you think more girls have stepped forward to work on OHR?
[Lucier] To be perfectly honest, I don't much mind the whole "hitting on Mew" thing. :P Although sometimes it gets out of hand. I enjoy being one of the few girls in the community, it makes me differ from everyone a bit more. I don't think there's many girls in the community, as the OHR is not one of the more popular RPG construction engines, so when there's already a small amount of girls interested in RPG creation, even less of them will be lucky enough to find the OHR.
  [ChaosNyte> Ah.

[ChaosNyte] All right, that about wraps it up. Anything else you'd like to add?
[Lucier] Um...everyone, keep working on those games. They're looking better and better everyday, and I can't wait to see the finished products of each of them.
  [ChaosNyte] All right, thanks Mew.
  [Lucier] No Problem.
