Into the game, the making of an OHR Game-
Well, lets start this off right. The game doesn't have a title yet, since it seems foolish to give it one at such an early date. I'm sure you've all read the intro, so you know that I'm in need of people to help make this project work. However, if less then half the needed positions are filled at the week's end, I'm blowing this one for a lark, and going to work on it myself. I'll still post updates, and I'll still release it on the 3rd of October, but with a team I believe we could have the game finished by then. Well, most of you are probably interested in the game itself, so I'll introduce the two main characters.

The guy on top is Akki, the girl on the bottom is Nabiki.
And if a certain someone is thinking about "borrowing" these, well...how
about you take a look at Tsugomo's Tutorial, instead. The plot of
these two, and many others will be revealed to the people who sign
up, of course. Though the rest of you will have to wait till next
week, when I find out if this will be a group project or something
to pursuit in my free time. The game itself is going to be released
in chapters, the first to be finished and posted in October. Each
chapter is designed to be a game in itself, and won't need other chapters
to hold it up or explain the story. In the end, I hope to have four,
detailing Akki's journey.
Postions, all still open.
Battle Artist- Hero and enemy graphics, weapon design, and item design.
Cut Scene Artist- Battle backgrounds, various cut scenes, including two animated ones.
Map Tile Artist- Forest, village indoor/outdoor, two caverns, and a battle field.
Music Designer- Heh. it’d be stupid to list everything I needed here.
Plotscripter- Various scenes, and two mini-games.
Text writer- To be honest, I could write the text myself, but I feel it would give the game a different feel if someone else did it. Responsible for all the text in the game.
Again, please send along with your interest email and role, an example of your work. I have no intention of hiring people who are doing this on the spur of the moment. People who join up are expected to work hard, and frankly I think with a good team the game could be completed before it’s deadline. If you join up and then do not do what your asked in the time limit required, or if you quit after you’ve signed on, be aware that your lazy ass will be mocked on OHR Weekly for the rest of time. This will be fun, if we all work hard. A weekly meeting will occur at 7 pm Central every Thursday night, and going is mandatory. It will be held on IRC, on the newnet server. (/server irc.newnet.net) simply enter the OHR channel a bit before seven, and I will link you to the "Into the Game" channel.
To be honest, my experience in the community tells me no one will join, or that I’ll get one low life slacker who won’t do any work. In the event no one signs up, I’ll still be pushing the project, since I’m happy about how the plot turned out, and how it’s more of a story then a action intensive RPG. Please, if you’d like to part of something exciting, sign up. Well, that's it. I've said my piece, and now it's up to you to join me.
