Graphic Kit fails after heated debate-

Mandrake, a newcomer to OHR who hails from another community where they code their own engines, announced that he was designing a graphic kit for newbies to use. This sparked a debate over ripped graphics and, met with harsh words on either side of the argument, though all credited Mandrake with having nice graphics. During the debate, another new comer appeared, by the name of Egg Bandit. He showed off some of his work and asked if he could help with the kit. For whatever reason, he got side tracked into the debate over ripped graphics and music, and ended up insulting Mandrake. Mandrake withdrew his kit and got into a yelling match with Egg Bandit, which finally ended when Steve closed the topic. To be honest, I would of liked to see how it played out...

New Message Board still going through growing pains-

Even after PK's best efforts, people still aren't pleased with the new board. Many call for the return of the old one, which had the ability to view topic strings, making for easier and quicker viewing. Board posts are down, and the general mood is that of irritation. Though PK has done his best to remedy these complaints, many new features can't be added. Such as the Topic Strings, a list of everyone's profile, and more customablziable profiles. Add Steve to the mix, who was given the ability to close conversations, and has all ready closed three. Frankly, I preferred it when PK was the only one in charge. To bad we couldn't of just stuck with the old board...

  "Into the Game" begins-

Chaos Nyte starts "Into the Game", an in depth look at the workings of a team developing a game for OHR. Starting today, CN hopes to have people joining up, though if no one does he plans to continue the project anyway. With luck, this new idea should spark up some of the community's most brilliant, and turn this event into the next big thing into proving yourself as a competent game designer.

Newbie Flame War! Oh wait. Nevermind-

Newcomer Sean appears on the main board toting his game, Awegra: The Secret of the Portal. It boasts some interesting plotscripting, and many people were pleased to see a newbie with some creative talent. I've talked to Sean in IRC, and found him to be a nice and well humored person. However, Cube, famed maker of the Dimension series popped up, and he's got a nasty surprise to tell everyone. Sean had stolen his hero walkabouts! The graphics were indeed, uncannily close, and Sean, shame-faced, admitted to it. The board members were up in arms, preparing to flame Sean to oblivion, but Cube and Sean had a rational conversation, and managed to calm down the other members. Sean is now working on original hero graphics, and Cube has accepted his apology. I guess it goes to show that the humble really will inherit the earth.
